How an Alpha Male stands apart from "boys"
First be sure you noticed 3 examples of interest. One example is not enough, as she may be looking at someone behind you, or is just squinting because she has forgotten to wear her contacts.
Once you see one sign, move to another part of the room where she can still see you. If you get another sign, it was you she was looking at. A sign of extreme interest is if she watches you as you walked to that other part of the room. Best way to tell is if you ask the barman "tell me if her eyes follow me as I go to the washroom & I'll give you a big tip when I return".
Another strong sign of interest is if she looks down and then away when you catch her looking at you. It will be a quick and fleeting gesture. Most men miss it, until it is demonstrated. If she does not look away immediately, you should hold her gaze and slightly smile like "Hi I see you" and WAIT until sh looks away. If you look away first it shows you are not confident. Her looking down and away is a universal sigh of submission among all cultures and mammals. She is displaying interest and also that when you go over to her, she will not claw you to death. Think of 2 tigers getting ready to mate. The male does not want to get clawed.
As she shows signs of interest, you can reply by turning your shoulders and shoes to point in her direction. Also by holding her gaze a bit longer than necessary.
What to do if she is with a group? You cannot approach as she might be interested, but not want her girlfriends to know. They may say to her "yuck, what do you see in him". She, and all women, worry a lot about the opinions of their peers. So, you walk past the group, catch her gaze and hold it as you walk past. She knows you are interested and also that you are discrete enough not to display it in front of her friends. You go to the bar or where the food is so as to provide a socially acceptable place for her to walk over to and a socially acceptable reason to speak with you like "what are the spring rolls like". Then, when she is away from her group, the 2 of you can speak freely.
When you approach an interested female, both of you are already interested in each other.
She has sent out body language signals and you have responded. Effectively, she has extended an invitation and you have accepted.
Now all that is needed is for you to go over and speak with her.
Any opening is ok, "Hi I'm Don" and extend your hand is enough. She wants to talk, so she will pick up and continue the conversation.
The handshake will also tell you just HOW interested she is. From a "maybe we will date" to a definite "yes, let's get dating and sex". it's all in how long she lingers as your hands separate after the handshake. She does not consciously even know she is doing it. It's just her emotions coming out in her body language.
This goes a long way to forwarding this early relationship. It is also a step most men do not do, to their peril.

Show her you are not married or living with someone
If the opening conversation allows, MEN will give her a business card. Not just any business card,
but an interesting conversation starting business card. It must look like a business card (not a "pickup card"),
but provide additional info about you. It also confirms to her that you have a good job (you can
provide for her & a family), work in a respectful part of town, live in a suitable neighborhood.
Yes, your address is on the card. Also your home number. This tells her you are not married, nor
living with another woman. She could call anonymously to check if she wants to.
She will not call, she just knows that if she wanted to, she "could".
